Good2Go active travel course

The Good2Go course is two days of fun active travel training aimed at teaching students aged between 8 and 12 years the necessary skills to travel actively.  The focus is on bike riding, but the knowledge is applicable to all forms of active travel – riding, walking, skating and scooting. There is a nominal fee of $50 but it’s really about helping students to be healthy and happy when actively travelling to school.

Topic highlights include preparation, rules, riding skills and techniques, route selection, road user communication techniques and locking your bike securely. All participants will be awarded a Good2Go card, certifying that they have completed the course. Parents/guardians will receive an information pack to ensure the skills their child has learnt are maintained.
