Term 2 Interschool Sport

It’s been a big term in Interschool Sport! Term 2 saw the College compete in athletics, cross country, badminton, soccer and netball. We had over 30 students attend the district athletics, with Ali Mohamud and Bashir Farah winning the 200 m and1500 m respectively. There are 14 students going through to the next round of cross country and we wish them well!

The intermediate girls badminton won their division round and have made it through to the regional round. The year 7, 8 and intermediate boys have also progressed through to the next round. Well done to the year 8 girls who put up a brave fight against the Pascoe Vale Girls.

Our soccer teams (year 8 and intermediate boys) made a valiant effort but went down to some solid opposition.

The Year 7 and 8 girls’ netball teams also played well, but the opposition was too good. Well done to the Year 7s for finishing second.

We’re looking forward to an even bigger Term 3.
