Join the Sub-Committee for Safe & Active School Travel

Join the sub-committee for safe and active school travel

Would you like to see your child travelling more safely to school? Would you like opportunities for children to be able to walk and cycle to and from school more often?

If you have the interest and passion we would love to hear from you and encourage your involvement with the school active travel plan.

The ‘School Travel Plan’ sub-committee meeting is next Thursday 6th November, 8am, in the school canteen.   You are invited to come along and take part.

What’s the school travel plan?

Collingwood College has been working on developing a school “safe and active” travel plan.  This is to address the traffic issues around our school as well as encouraging more sustainable transport options for families.

We have started implementing a number of actions in the plan and we need interested and keen parents and staff involved.

Bring along your enthusiasm, ideas and be part of creating more safer and healthy ways to school for our community.

Please contact me if you have any questions, are interested, can’t make it but still want to be a part of it:

Many thanks,
Tara Watson

(School Travel Plan Coordinator)
