Message from The Principal

Many thanks to all the community who were represented today at the ‘Breakfast Against Violence’. As a community, we reinforced a key school value – Relationships.

The staff were certainly warmed by this strong show of respect and support. The police were in attendance in good numbers and they certainly enjoyed our hospitality.

Many thanks to the parents who chipped in and gave up time  to make this happen. In particular, many thanks to Tina who organised some wonderful sponsorship from our local Safeway stores for the event.

Finally, over the next few weeks the Crime Prevention Unit will hold an educational forum for our school community.  I will announce more details and an exact date and time as soon as they are known.

Jenny is making good progress but it will not be an easy road back for her. We will continue to support her at every turn.  A backfill for Jenny is being considered.

Keir is also on indefinite leave at the moment and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Our thoughts are with both Keir and Jenny during this difficult period. Jacinta will act as the Assistant Principal role during Keir’s absence.

cheers

Dale Perichon
