Gabriel Talk

Join us at the forthcoming Gabriel Talk on Monday 27th July at 7.30 p.m. for  a stimulating discussion about imagination and healthy child development.

Presented by Leanne Moraes: “Nurturing our children’s imaginations for tomorrow’s world.”

How can we as parents provide an environment for children to be fully free to play imaginatively, in a world which increasingly presses upon them to limit this essential aspect of healthy child development? How does electronic media, over scheduled extra curricula activity impact on child development? How can we place open ended play (both indoors and outdoors) at the heart of a child’s daily living? Leanne Moraes is an early child hood educator who has been working with Prep and Kinder age children and their parents for 35 years. She is a member of the Steiner Early Childhood Association.

Monday 27th July, 7.30 p.m. at the Phyllis Hore Room, Kew Library,

Corner Cotham Rd and Civic Drive, Kew.

No charge, no bookings required.
