The Great Book Swap 2015

Collingwood College is holding a Great Book Swap to raise money for The Indigenous Literacy Foundation. We have raised more than $1500.00 in the past three years and we doing it again.

The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) aims to tackle some of the disadvantage experienced by children in remote Indigenous communities whose standards of reading and writing are generally years behind those of other Australian children. ILF provides specially-chosen books to more than 230 remote communities around Australia.

We are holding our Great Book Swap on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th (Grades 5 and 6) of August in our Library.

WHAT TO DO:

STEP 1 – DONATE BOOK(S) – BRING TO THE LIBRARY

STEP 2 – COME TO THE LIBRARY ON THE 26th and 27th of AUGUST WITH GOLD COIN DONATION AND PICK UP A BOOK

Where: Collingwood College Library 

Date: Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th of August 

Cost: Gold coin donation 

Time: Lunch time + all day booking for classes available – please see Alina for booking

Book collection: From beginning of August to 26th of August bring books to the library
