Rock Academy School Holiday Program

Hi Collingwood College,

Our names are Declan and Alan Long, a father and son who love music – rock music.

Our love of music has led us to create a school holiday program called Rock Academy Melbourne.

And we’d like to invite any of your music students aged between 13 and 18 to join in.

During the program the musicians will be divided into four bands, with each band preparing two cover songs and co-writing an original song to be performed in front of family and friends at the final performance.

The bands will be guided and mentored by Phil Ceberano (Kate Ceberano, Sexual Chocolate, Trentwood), Ash Davies (Jeff Lang, Chris Wilson and the Crown of Thorns, The Backsliders) and Nikki Nicholls (Kylie Minogue, John Farnham).

The program is being held at Bakehouse Studios in Richmond (right next to North Richmond station) with the performance being staged at the Central Club Hotel, Richmond.

There is limited space we’re looking for 4 drummers, 4 singers, 4 bassists / keyboardists and 8 guitarists and so it’s first in best dressed.

We hope you have some keen musicians that will be interested
